Calling all creatives

If you’re a creative based in Birmingham, this could be the most important event that you attend this year! The Behance Portfolio Review is a chance for you get feedback on your own work from some of the most talented creative workers in the city, and hear some inspiring talks too.

The event will be taking place in the heart of Birmingham at the Ikon Gallery, starting from 9am on the 11th of May. Join us as we celebrate the creative community of Birmingham, drink some great coffee and have a croissant or two. Tickets are free but very limited so reserve your place today!

Ian is a highly skilled freelance illustrator with an enviable list of clients including; Radio Times, Guardian, Cycling Plus Magazine, The Japan Times, Red Active, The Economist, Institute of Directors, Amrop Hever Group, Foreign Policy Magazine, In-House Lawyer Magazine, Financial Times, Independent on Sunday and many others.

With specialisms in illustration, advertising, book covers, design and editorial illustration, Ian's talk will be a must see.

Karl is an award winning Experience Designer & Creative Strategist with over 15 years spent in interface design, creative direction and user experience. His strengths are in creating engaging, user-centred experiences through strategic planning & creative thinking across a broad range of media.

Karl is extremely passionate about the work he does and strives to understand his clients' business thoroughly in order to help them communicate using technology as an aid.

Adrian Iliescu

Adrian Iliescu

Lead Designer @ Bareface

Adrian is a passionate designer that has worked in agencies in the UK and across Europe. He started out studying architecture before moving on to specialise in cutting edge digital design, UX and branding.

In addition to his design skills, Adrian wants to create a community in Birmingham for creative professionals starting with this Behance review.
